Having used both platforms for Short Film funding. We are much preferring the functionality of Kickstarter. It also seems to hold more weight in potential backers minds. Just a thought really. This is probably just an industry bias though.

Thanks for this OP. This is something we had never even considered when launching. I guess you get people like this everywhere now even taking advantage on crowdfunding sites.

First heard about crowdfunding and Kickstarer whilst I was working for a corporate video production company. The idea has stuck with me ever since.
