I have never used them, but I really do love the brand name.

They don't look like a kickstarter marketing agency to me.

It can't be trusted. You can clearly see they are hosted on wordpress.com which means that they couldn't spend the $10 to get a domain name and a web host. We are now in touch with Crowd PR to resolve this matter, and are asking for a formal apology. Have we worked with them? No. I find their facebook page highly offensive, as is their twitter page . What can we do to get these guys shut down? I propose a summit of fellow crowdfunding community members...

If you do paid media in relevant blogs the conversion rate can get up to 6%. It's all about relevance.

Best bang for your buck is to do public relations yourself. It costs $0, you just email journlists and get them to write about you. You have to pay with time instead of with money. If you get featured by some good blogs you can get a ton of backers.

A good way to do this is to start running facebook ads well before you launch. If you've got some sort of fashion product, you can use a local store to drum up hype and build the email llist.

Their website is kind of vague and hard to understand...
