I heard about crowdfunding programs first time on twitter and reddit and join some of them.

First of all, it is a great thread. My friend wants to start a crowdfunding campaign so i will disclose some details later here.

Great site with great features like it is not restricted to other countries like Kickstarter is for only USA residents.

Thanks for the article. Totally agree preparation is key and email is very important. If you have a good email list on Kickstarter Backers then you can begin a Kickstarter campaign successfully.

I have backed 5 projects so far and the reason behind this was because I like the idea behind these projects.

You can use social media like facebook, twitter and other and start a campaign or post your campaign in groups, which will help to collect funds.

It's all hard work for the most part. And there's a very big market outside of crowdfunding too. And agile microbrands can be creative to hit that market something big brands and traditional retailers cannot do.

Any one is here who can share his experience about using Kickbooster here?
