I was involved in e-commerce for the past 7 or 8 years. Was doing quite OK but I got fed of reselling the same boring stuff. I am now a full time inventor and product designer, using Kickstarter as my main tool for testing the market.

Has anyone tried reverse pricing on early birds?

I know Kickstarter is not a store, but I am toying with an idea that I would charge more for early bird rewards. Reasoning behind this is that early adopters are willing to pay more.

What do you think? Do you know any campaigns that did this?

I just backed my 10th project today from my personal Kickstarter account. I backed at least 10 more from my "campaign" accout, mostly for 1 or 5$ as a cross promotion thing.
