We hit the 110% mark today and still have 30+ days to go. I'm producing/directing the project and the musician is a full-time student caught up with exams as he nears the end of the semester, so in the future promote offline at events and gigs would be a great idea.

I think Backertree & all other companies that claim they can boost interest and raise funds for your Kickstarter project should not be considered. If you have a ton of disposal income and are trying to decide between lighting your money on fire or paying one of these services, I would burn it in...

Maybe BackerClub is good for tech and other crowdfunders that have a final product for their Backers, but for something like a short film by a non-celebrity, I don't think these companies are useful. And I'm suspicious of them. I am producing a music video in July, and have been bombarded with these...
