We did our first campaign on Indiegogo. You need to keep a good GoGo factor (similar to search engine ranking) to stay on top of the page. Without external marketing it's almost impossible to drive pre-orders. Try facebook or a Thunderclap.it

We have just launched 4 days ago on Kickstarter and only 1/3 of the pre-orders come from kickstarter.com - the majority of pre-orders is thru external traffic. Our experience is not to rely too much on the platform traffic but market the campaign off site by PR and social media. We made more than 40...
