Yes I have a list. I'm working on it but it's hard to get positive responses. I already have couple of youtubers and a 4-5 web sites that will post about it. Trying to get more.
I think it will be a little easier when the campaign goes live.

Yes, I will ship the rewards in bulk to USA and there I will work with a fulfillment company. That's how I try to keep the shipping costs low and avoid customs taxes for the backers.

If you can pledge for 4k in your own 10k project, why are you asking for 10k in the first place?
Just ask for 6k as that's what you need.

Bringing back the VAT issue... I'm a creator from Spain. As far as I know I should charge VAT (21% in Spain) to my European backers. I've seen a few projects that specify this and charge the VAT including it as shipping charges. But most of them don't mention it in the campaign or the coments. So......

Never heard of them. But I think it's unfair to associate the keyworded brand with "fraud" as it'll crop up in search results...my 2 cents.

Every one I spoke to has the same advice - make sure you have a list of backers before launching - which begs the question, what is the point of using Kickstarter? Why not set up a prepay website, that way you don't loose 8% of you revenue to a site that doesn't actually contribute anything to your...
