I think there is one basic rule: The more you can show and the more professional your video is, the better. It's just about convincing people, that your idea is just awesome.

For next time you need to get quickly the first funds, i mean like in first 48 hours. That can improve greatly on your chances for your next projects.

I think it is very important to prepare first backers before you start the project on Kickstarter, since the first minutes and hours seem to be pretty important for success.
