The first thing I pay attention in a Kickstarter project is the video. It shouldn't be fine or good, it needs to be AWESOME! The second thing I pay attention after awesome video is the perks, basically the picture or some graphic solution, where the perks are clearly and visually visible.

Twitter is another good place to promote the project. Also try to use Thunderclap before the campaign launch. It really helps to coordinate a mass message send out from our supporter’s Facebook and Twitter profiles on the same day at the exact same time in order to achieve the maximum effect.
