It doesn't matter. I've seen projects with relatively small goals greatly exceed their target. It really depends on your marketing strategy. The key from my understanding is getting the word out early. It really helps to engage in social media so people know who you are.

My advice is to learn how to use the Facebook Ads Manager. That is all the Kickstart My Ads folks do. The Facebook Ads Manager even lets you target certain demographics. Live and learn I guess.

When you really think about it what these services like Kickstartmyads or Outbrain actually offer is exposure. Either people like your project when they see it or they don't.
