Johnnie we used the $299 plan. It's been useful as it allowed me to spend quite some time early on with them on getting the messaging right. If you plan it right I'd either go $299 then switch to $99 for the last few weeks with them, and then cancel.

Yeah unfortunately we have only gotten 98% of our press during the first three days after that the story was just cold. We had released a few extra pledges that gave us a small boost but they had sold out within two days. Should have saved that for the final two days. My mistake.

Wanted to share it before the campaign ends. We are currently at $114k. Looks like we won't reach our stretch goal of $125k I'm afraid. We also blew over 3 times over our goal of $25,000 within our first week. Unfortunately after the first week things have slowed down considerably for us. Project now in its final 24 hours, shame we won't hit 5x of our goal the way it looks.

I had launched a Kickstarter prior and during Christmas in 2012 and I definitely can't recommend doing so. During Christmas people look for real gifts they can get ASAP. Also few people were surfing online during the holidays. So I strongly advise against doing so.
