I would say 2/3 friends, family, and connections. 1/3 Random people. In terms of # of backers.
In terms of $ it's about 90% friends, 10% strangers.

I always heard it was more like 30% friends, 70% strangers. Maybe that's for more 'serious' campaigns.

Does this include the creation of the product itself? If so, 18 months! Our Kickstarter is for printing some graphic novels.
