I was suffering a slow death in Design, so I changed it to games. I wonder if that will make a difference.

I finally added it. The local paper gave me permission to use one of their photos, so I took the opportunity to add "Staff Pick" to it.

The photo didn't have a great place for the star-style badge, so I tried something a little different. See what you think:

I finally got my Google ads to run. The process is overly complex, I think, but I guess that is the way it needs to be. I thought others might be interested in my experience, so here are my numbers so far. I have generated 2000 impressions. I have generated 34 clicks. I have generated 0 pledges from...

I am trying to do that right now. It's about as clear as mud. It appears that if I don't include "kickstarter" in my keyword then it will cost about $3 CPC.

I guess now I know why Google has so much money.

I would have done a lot of things differently, but mostly I would have made it simpler and shorter. I would have left the genetic code out of it.

I got a staff pick within an hour. Here's how dumb I am - I thought everyone got one automatically. I got so much spam when I launched, I just figured it was more of the same. Thanks for the heads up. Now I feel kinda special. Maybe I should do something about it. Where can I find one of those cool ...

I didn't know what I was doing, and that's why I did this - to learn. I'd do it differently now, but oh well. I'm going to do another one after this, and hopefully I'll do better.

Anybody have any sharing ideas?
