I second that - so jealous (in a good way) to see people getting backed so fast, but I sure understand there is a ton of work beforehand. How does one gather emails for marketing campaigns? And do facebook/insta ads work well?

Just launched as well. Guys, do partnerships such as with Russell Marketing and FundedToday really make a difference in a campaign? Can you just work with social platforms/ads? I mean.. how feasible it is for a small (under 10k) campaign?

I've heard from marketers that KS is favouring the project that has been backed within 48 hours. By this logic, yes, you have to be quite humble in the start.

But isn't it a good thing that there are so many projects now? I mean... I wish I lived back in a day then you invent a glass bottle for ketchup and you are set for life just because there is no one else out there. I don't think it's Kickstarter's fault, but rather normality of our current age.

I haven't slept properly in a week, because apparently there is a LOT to do before you launch (next time I'll do prelaunch for a month) but, man, the experience is great!
