I honestly don't remember. It's such an ingrained part of the cultural zeitgeist at this point. Probably from something like Nerdist or Gizmodo or something like that.

My dream is for this audio drama podcast is for it to gain a sizeable audience and maybe even go on tour one day. And I'd love to be able to pay all of the voice actors full, living wages for their hard work.

My favorite reward is the custom voice message. Since my Kickstarter is for an audio drama, one of the rewards is for our actors to record custom messages as any character from the show! I think it's a fun concept.

Not sure. I set my goal very low in hopes that it would be funded quickly, but my partner suggests that might be setting us up for failure. The more time goes by with my project at only 40% funded, the more I'm convinced he's right.

So far I'm learning that networking is everything. Well, that and taking off my creative hat and putting on my salesperson hat. It's my least favorite hat. But it's pushing me to go outside of myself and my own head and to look, instead, at how others view my work. All in all, not a terrible exercise.

Another thing people do with email lists is offer a product (like an ebook or a PDF of information they would be interested in). Some people create little email "courses" where they teach subscribers a new trick or tip over the course of a few emails.
