Videos are great and all, but abbreviated transcripts are also very useful, especially for those of us on dog-slow connections. Unlike most people, I find myself veering away from embedded video in . . . pretty much anything. Also, I have to wait ~10 minutes to get to all the content, whereas reading allows me to do it in a much shorter period of time.

Glad it's helpful! Yea, in the future we may be able to provide transcripts, but it's kind of expensive and time consuming so for now, we just have to stick to videos.

Didn't know I had to build a supportive community prior to launching a project. Lesson learnt!

@benpow - Yea - I also think putting in the effort to build up your email list and community prior to your campaign will also help your business in the longterm.

I am thinking about Indiegogo for an eye ware related product, for some reason Kickstarter doesn't allow eye wear (sunglasses, etc). I've heard it's because they have liability concerns. I would love to know if this is true and what they are most concerned about. I haven't had a chance to fully review Indiegogo, however they don't seem to have the same restrictions.
