Unable to post to the introduce yourself forum, it just hase a search box, am I missing something?

Here's my third and increasingly useless comment before I ask my question.

I agree... not a fan of the "3" post requirement. ugh. ONE.

Because a person must post something on which they had no intent or reason to post to begin with. #fluff

Oh, I see. I respect your opinion, but disagree.

The goal with the 3 post minimum is to create a barrier for people who are just looking to spam their link and leave and not contribute anything to the community. I also think creators would be surprised to find what they can learn from other campaigns and some of the resources on the website. The minimum kind of focuses their attention on these aspects.

Finally - you would be surprised what even a few words of encouragement can mean to another person working long hours to make their dream a reality via Kickstarter . Sometimes, it's just the fuel they need to keep them going!

You should put the 3 post minimum info in the Frequently ask Questions section.
