Hi all! I love creating new things. My day job is > searching for product that people needed, yet haven exist. Started a project in indiegogo back on 2013 and it was not a success. It never put me down, as i thought that failure is not a problem. The most important is how you take the challenge once again and fight for it untill you achieve. My passion project? Here you go and i am sure it will never be the last! XD

Currently in sales and have been for years. My passion is to release a cartoon (which my kickstarter project will be) really looking forward to getting it out but taking the next 90+ days to cultivate an audience. (Have never done any crowd fund projects)

The goal of getting this cartoon out is pulling me through the grind for sure.

Hi everyone! I'm a full-time mom of 2 (ages 3 and 7 months). About to manage my first kickstarter campaign! It's for a kids plate that my friend invented. I'm super passionate and stoked about that and I have so many "passion projects" that it would take a while to list them all. I also organize and run workshops/meetings for San Diego moms with entrepreneurial dreams.

I'm here to learn and connect with people doing similar projects. Woohoo!

I work for a mutual fund company, but my passion is the project I will be putting on Kickstarter soon! My Day job is MISERABLE

@toddy - Sorry to hear that your day job isn't fun. What category will your project be in?

@sdmompreneur - That's awesome! I'd really recommend tapping into women business and mom bloggers when you launch. Might be worth connecting with my friend Patty Lennon (http://www.momgetsabiz.com/). She runs "Mom Grows a Business Conference" and is also writing a book about Kickstarter.

What is my daily job?
I am an entrepreneur. I did build and is today operating a pirate ship in St. Augustine. Yes, a pirate ship that takes up to 127 passengers. I created a floating theater where we put on live pirate shows in front of the audience, http://www.PirateShipBlackRaven.com. I am not a pirate or performer, neither a sea captain, just a simple guy with ideas. My job may be unusual but “somebody has to do it”.

What is my passion?
This project is my passion, read on: After one very long day at work, I was sitting in a very private room in my house and looked down on the floor rug. I saw a pattern that burned in to my brain. I looked at it again next day and the idea came to me. I saw a new art concept, a new abstract art idea. I have been working on it for over one year and we have now produced the first product samples in China. I'm a retired dentist, but I've always yearned to be an inventor/tinkerer/designer. Kickstarter is an open door to people like me that always had the desire but not the disposable funds to experiment on high risk ventures. I love designing new products and seeing them come to life. The profits from a successful project are just icing on the cake.

I'm a software engineer, but my passion is music, just launching my first kickstarter now for my band in the D.C. area!
