Thanks, this is helpful. We successfully use Facebook, instagram, and tumblr but have never really gotten a handle on how to most effectively use Twitter to promote our project. We have it set up that it autotweets everything from our other social media accounts - through the IfTTT app - but it'd be nice to have content dedicated solely to Twitter.
