We are the Film Award Receiving Team (F.A.R.T.) Film Studios, a film production company that, so far, has made only one direct-to-YouTube film about 10 years ago (it got like 12 views or something, so it was a modest success!)

We have always been interested in doing an independent short film, but had a hard time thinking of how to engage people with it. How do you stand out from the rest, even with a great plot/script?

Our idea was to leverage the reward tiers and combine them with the actual script itself. We thought it would be more fun if we gave every backer the chance to creatively influence the movie for as little as $1. Depending on the amount backers choose to donate, they can request a specific line, plot point, prop, piece of costuming, or even be a character in the movie (full list of rewards can be found on our kickstarter in my signature).

Will this make our lives infinitely harder when writing the script? Yes. Will it make for a good movie? We will see! Seemed like a fun way to get backers to participate, though!
