I have some "excess" cash money in my bank account(s). I've got separate 401k and IRA accounts so I'm looking for something to invest in. Here are my "parameters".

I'm not necessarily looking for a get rich stock, I'd like it to be something that I can invest for a minimum 1 year but it may stay there for longer.

I would like it to be something I can cash in at anytime after 6+ months IF I decide I need the cash.

I don't mind spreading it into 5 - $10k bundles and spreading it around.

Just curious what the YB who are watching good stock buys out there think.

And since this is YB - NO, I do NOT want to invest in a member's car, business or other personal "get rich" schemes. :p

I would advise you to pay attention to cryptocurrencies and NFT. They are gaining very fast popularity now and if you invest small amounts now in the future, I think you can expect a jackpot! Already now people are making money on this and I think this is not the limit, given how fast the world is developing. I have read a lot of articles on moneyunder30.com about finances and I think that this road will become the most promising for investments in the coming years. Cryptocurrencies have already made thousands of people millionaires and continue to do so. The main thing is to start learning blockchain, and not just throw your money into bitcoin (which is why many have lost their money). But I've tried crypto currencies, but not NFT. In my opinion, NFTs are kinda wierd and I see a complicated future with them.
As for cryptocurrencies, I've never had luck with them. I check on them on a daily bases, and I see them rise, I invest money into them, but at that point, they start falling, and I lose everything I invested and then some.
