Hey all,

Just launched my first Kickstarter campaign this week -- we're off to a great start, but need to put in some ad $$ to get us all the way to our goal.

We're running Facebook Ads, but not seeing the full results we'd like. I think part of the issue is that we can't install Facebook pixel on Kickstarter, so Facebook can't optimize for conversions. We are using the Custom Referral tags on Kickstarter, but I'm wondering how else we can track and optimize conversions from Facebook ads?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi! First of all, congratulations on getting fully funded!
And yes, sadly there's no pixel to connect Facebook and Kickstarter.
But there are other things you can do:

Always filter for “crowdfunding”, “Kickstarter”, and “Indiegogo”. Filtering for these audiences already lifts a huge burden off your chest. You’re already limiting the type of people who see your ads to those who are willing to pay for a product that doesn’t exist yet and then wait for months (maybe even years) to get it.

Facebook advertising can be a little bit complicated to understand at first, but it can yield great results for your lead generation, crowdfunding campaign, and business beyond crowdfunding.
