    Backer Club?

by Coffee and Notebook » Mon Oct 21, 2019 9:30 pm

I am tempted to go ahead and join Backer Club but I am hesitant. Are they a reputable agency, or not?

They are not very popular, we've done a lot of research before we allocate our marketing budget to certain service and we couldn't find more info for them.

They're often used, but what problem did you have with them?

    Absolutely!

Their business model gives you as the creator direct access to the most engaged crowdfunding backers. Furthermore, their BackerClub guarantee means that you have nothing to lose by submitting your project to the Club.

BackerClub is a two-sided marketplace and only succeeds if backers get access to good projects and campaigners get access to good backers.

What this means is that BackerClub is attractive for crowdfunding backers and project creators alike.

If you want to learn more about them, and get a discount if you end up submitting your project with them, you can go to the blog: https://crushcrowdfunding.com/backerclu ... -worth-it/

yes, they drive you some backers BUT don't think they will drive you a lot of backers (and money)

Keep in mind that crowdfunding platforms bring you about 10% (25% if you are lucky) of backers — all the rest is up to you.

Never start a crowdfunding without having a good audience and don’t waste money with those who promise to get results in 10 days - this never ever works.
Crowdfunding has to be planned at least 6 month before (even 1 year if you have not a strong audience and followers)

You should use some different strategies to create your community, like:

    • Referral Campaigns
    • Help journalists or bloggers to their upcoming stories (and get a quote)
    • Post viral contents
    • Use social bots to automate some posts and following
    • Distribute your press release to media outlets’ newsrooms
