Hi folks,

I just re-launched my previously canceled campaign, Pisces, A Kinetic Art Lamp.

It's raised 34% so far after half a day. Hopefully the momentum continues! But it seems almost all the backers are return backers and very few new ones. I think there is a visibility issue with the campaign as the number of views is really low.

Should I put it into the Art-Sculpture category for better visibility? Seems the Product Design category is a battlefield of competition.

Great to see you relaunch your project and that you're already 36% funded!

It's true that Product Design has huge competition, but after surfing through each of the projects in each category, it seems that your project would be more suitable there. Your project is truly a unique design piece and those looking at Art/Sculpture projects are most probably in a different mindset than those looking at Product Design projects. I can see your fans being from sites like Yanko Design (would recommend to outreach to them if you haven't yet) and other niche design sites, especially ones related to light design.

I know this is an old thread but changing your category truly helped with visibility? I'm personally down for Product Design atm what with it being an actual..product....design... but I'm now looking to change category to try again!
