Kickstarter is a household name in the US now

just living in the SF Bay area and working at startups I feel like I've heard about crowdfunding for years! I recently had to explain what it was to 1) an 84 year old in GA and 2) a 54 year old living in PA . I guess i live in a bubble out here. Easy to forget that the whole world doesn't know about these things!

I first heard about Kickstarter from the blog article.

Recently, I discovered that many "small" projects can also get funded on Kickstarter! I think it is a very great opportunity for people who are just starting and who want to set up an online notebook store (like me!).

I heard of Kickstarter long ago, and I can't even remember where exactly... Since I'm located in California, the crowdfunding topic is quite popular here and you can hear about it almost from any channel or source. We first started utilizing crowdfunding when commenced working on The Universim game. It was a great success and after that, we've had a couple more campaigns all successfully funded.

I'm actually still very new to the whole crowdfunding thing. Just recently our boss here in tokyo came up with the idea to launch our campaign on kickstarter and after our launch our staff has had to study so much about the platform, especially with regards to promotion.
It's definitely a new venture and he haven't got a good hold on it yet but we'll just see where things go

I'm new to crowdfunding, but not to creating characters and such. I want to make my project successful, although some ideas I've seen on these sites are either good or funny. Either way, I hope my game is good AND funny!
