My husband just launched his kickstarter campaign a week ago. He's a first time producer and has self-funded the development of a passion project. Being a former Olympian himself, he wanted to develop a documentary series about Olympians that might've not been in the limelight or medal winners, but have inspiring and compelling stories of their struggles and challenges before/during or after the Olympic competition. He's hoping to raise $12k in order to complete the editing of the two initial stories so that he can shop for a distribution partner (and keep developing more stories). Kickstarter has raised about 1/4 of the total in a week so far..but need to build some momentum. Any tips on reaching out to those who might have an interest is much appreciated - link below. We've of course reached out to our friends of friends network and done some facebook but really need more help!
