In terms of any secrets to share on FB, you need to do the testing - whether it's spending money on A/B testing, finding the right niche, audience, age group etc.,
Have a look at what ads your competitors posted, try to replicate it and narrow down your audience...then finally take them to an email capture page like a landing page and narrow it down further with Mailchimp newsletters and monitor views/clicks.
