Cross Promo sounds like a great strategy, but when I tried to use it for my campaign, the other party just didn't do anything- so I gained nothing from the experience, though if you'r still looking for another campaign/community I'd love to help: my current campaign is here if you wonna check it out:

Congrats on the launch!! Just looked at your post and went to look at your KS and CONGRATS!!! I was going to mention, a Social Media cross promotion is good option. Great way to cross promote of similar companies in the same industry, or at least an opportunity to get in front of your target market and being "cosigned" by an established brand. Cograts again!!

    Be blessed!!

Hope all of you guys are doing well, and that you are kick ass with your Kickstarter project!

Now, we have been on Kickstarter for 2 weeks now with our Madpong (beerpong) game, and we are about 65% funded. We still have 2 weeks left to make our Kickstarter project become a succesfully funded project, and have been looking for various ways in order to get noticed more, but also more connected with people in general, and with other kickstarter projects.

One of the things that we are implementing at the moment is Cross Promotion. We believe that working together with other kickstarter campaigns would benefit all parties. So, I was wondering if there are people with running kickstarter projects are willing to work together via Cross Promtion in order to make our projects a big success?

Kickstarter link to our campaign is::

If you have any other tips or comments with regards to our kickstarter, we would appreciate it.

    Have a blessed day

Cross promotion only brings a small percentage of pledges to my campaign but it has had some success - especially from another project for a mystery novel. It makes sense that there needs to be some connection between the types of projects in order for them to both be relevant to the backer.

You're right. So the connection could be:
    - Same amount raised or same number of backers
    - Same niche (This is important)
    - Same time to go
    - Or my favourite, is same country/city.

Exactly! I think speaking from a macro-vantage the payout won’t always lead to initial monetary benefit, but you never know what relationships can be sparked or who you can inspire by you taking that first step.

That being said totally understand gauging whether or not the cross-promo makes sense from the beginning.
