I hear on the crowdfunding podcast that many big time project creators are beginning to experiment with influencer marketing. Does anyone on here have experience with this? I assume they're talking about paying people on instagram to promote the project. Seems like it could get expensive though.

I've never heard of it working for anyone.

nope. influencer doesnt work for instafamous or twitfamous people.

they worth nothing in the advertising world for new products. might be a different story for established people or super famous influencers like pewdiepie or such.. but small time influencers (which usually the one available to work) is just not worth it.

I am doing this on my own. I've built a large list of them. It will be set of focused outreach. I know many here don't believe influencers can help, but I've first hand seen it be a success in my past marketing companies. So I will give it an attempt and post my results here.

I know the instagram influencer marketing works really well for any fashion related project.

This is not an effective form of marketing for crowdfunding campaign.

Never use Crowd PR!

It is not really effective. There is not enough time to get the ROI from it compared to Ads.
