Great read. I agree about setting funding goals. I wanted to set it higher because I wanted to make the project perfect and right, but looking at it now, I maybe could've cut it down a bit more so the project could actually be fully funded!

Thanks for your insights! I'm struggling my ass off here I've been in huge films with a 10k fan email list and 750k social media followers and only 130 donations in 15 days lol!

I recently launched my project 3 days ago. It's been a slow start, so of course I have my reservations, especially after doing everything I thought was right! I've been building a social media presence, sending outreach emails... It's all very daunting and sometimes doesn't seem to pay off. I have my fingers crossed it'll pick up.
