    My project went live today, July 3rd. I initially paid on June 28th, and approved their content on the 29th. It's been 5 days since payment, which is a lot considering that my kickstarter campaign is already live. I don't understand why it didn't just go live automatically on the 29th, when I approved it. That would have been much better, especially since it could have made it into their weekend newsletter.

    Beside this, gadgetflow has been easy to work with. They were responsive, and the content they wrote was good as well.

    Very interested to see what kind of traffic will come from gadgetflow, fingers crossed :-)

    Hello relevel,

    totally agree, by me the same need days before go live. The texting is good enough but they make it to quick and by me there was several failure/mistakes - have to ask the support to change the text. I think there is space to improve the workflow.
    What plan do you bought from gadgetflow?

    My results after 12 days with Standard-Plan:

    Image

    For me is that not what i expected if i see the advertising from the GadgetFlow-Website. The clicks decrease dramatically - waste of money for me with $500 on Google Ad i have more response - so i'm frustated.
    Nobody knows how big is their community. They told something on their website how many people they reached.. but my experience looks different if i calculate in comparing to google.

    Hello Boris,

    I'm curious, what kind of ROI you generate with Google ads? Also regarding your last message I think that you are confused with ROI - please read this http://www.investopedia.com/terms/r/ret ... stment.asp we are using the simplest model to calculate it. I feel that we are going over the same questions again and again even though we provide you support on a 3rd party website and thats outside of our scope.

    You got 1900 clicks at $519 ad spent which is $0.27 CPC far cheaper than any other advertising medium for crowdfunding. If you claim that you get cheaper CPC from your own activities that's great but most probably its not targeted. We've sent you 1900 people to your campaign if the conversion rate is low that's due to your landing page, product, prices, shipping. We'd be happy to connect you with trusted crowdfunding consultants that we've worked with in the past so you can improve your page but that is not something that we do as Gadget Flow.

    I don't think our team "failed" anywhere, this is why we sent you a preview, to make sure that your listing looks as expected or request changes.

    The clicks decrease because we've almost completed the promotions that you bought with the standard plan and this is normal, your listing will remain on our platform forever therefore we'll continue to send you traffic and potential customers but at a much lower scale compared with the promotional period.

    The bottom line once again is that you got positive ROI from our activities (you invested $519 and you got $700 and these are the trackable pledges, we estimate more pledges from the official KS app but unfortunately that's not trackable so we can't get credit for these pledges).

    Hope that helps.

    I saw your project EagleLive and google ads dont work for small projects u probably need more advertising like press, facebook ads to get to people that are interested, gadget flow is great as we used them many times in the past but u cannot expect to get your campaign funded just with 1 service and google ads. thats my 2 cents.

    Hello,

    @miklos
    totally agree i don't want to fund my campaign with only one service like GadgetFlow for a cheap testbuying of only $500.
    But have some thoughts about this:

    I have spent 650 EUR on Google for 13211 clicks in 5 days and became 10 pledges. Then i spent $500 for only 1900 clicks and 3 pledges. Please calculate by yourself.

    Image

    @GadgetFlow
    Realisitic is: You can not say that the money from pledges is calculated for positive ROI in comparing to the costs from the PR service. You can only calculate with the net profit for that. You don't have read the link i send you for defining ROI.
    Wait - your link say the same... Yeahhh.. only the net profit not $700 pledges! Read your own link!
    Your defining is better for your argumentation looks better but is totally wrong!
    In this case for me is waste of money.

    And by the way, the support told me in the time to set the preview the Pictures are great. So there are lying to me?
    They have better tell me the Preview is not enough to become more than a few thausends clicks. You are specialised you have the experience! I'm only a customer! Next i can say the text of the preview is not from me.. so the problem could also be the Text of the Preview from GadgetFlow.
    But all this is not the point... The Point is i have expected more clicks for $500. And we don't speak from any conversion-rate or pledges onyl from clicks.

    So a bad campaign or some other problems with the prices, shiping etc. here not in focus, because for that i should have thousand of clicks and no pledges. But i have few clicks and few pledges - this is okay - but it could be more clicks if we have really 200k impressions. That is the point i speaking of...

    As a result i don't believe we have 200.000 to 450.000 Impressions by GadgetFlow in 12 Days. That is the Standard-Package from GadgetFlow (30days?). And i ask again how many impressions you have with my promo now?

    And at last.. GadgetFlow tell me it needs 7-13 days before i see any spikes and now after 12 days he tell me promotion is completed / over ?? >>> very confused about this!!!

    But okay... only a discussion with no result and BOLD-Letters is not a answer like loud sounding is not an argumentation.

    Hope we have finished this discussion, i have no time to explain why i mean i waste money with the Standard-Plan from GadgetFlow.

    Have a nice day

    I have just spend over $60 euros in facebook ads, with a reach of over 17.000 I have generated less than 500 page views, and zero pledges! Haven´t tried google ads, but after reading your message I´m not sure I will...

    Have anyone had a good experience with gadgetflow yet?

    @spiceup
    You mean reached 17.000 people or you have 17.000 clicks? I have reached more than 200.000 people... means impressions.
    And only 13.000 people have clicked to see more from my ad.

    I have found some interesting website from people talking about PR and most of them don't use an PR company. They write the important thing is to have a community and use google and facebook to grow up make Email-List with landing-page and use the biggest crowdfunding-community itself for promo.

    I will learn something more and relaunch our Campaign without PR-Services. Problem so far is crowdfunding is going in wrong-direction... looks more a EarlyBird Amazon-Shopping House instead to help people realize projects. In the past we have Rewards like Cups and T-Shirt and very simple Videos and Today? Yes everybody want the new product for the cheapest price.. as first and ypu need a Film-Company to make Promo-Film. We have make it with our worker and it was very funny for all of them. But that background is for a startup a big problem because on startup all costs very high... later they build many products then the prices decrease.
    Is like the developing of ebay.. do you know some people is really make a offer and wait 10 days? The most of them use the Direct-Buy Button.. so ebay is also going in the direction of Online-Shopping-House like Amazon. That is life... all people want to buy, buy, buy and fast delivering. That is the nature of customers - my 50 cent.

    Thanks for writing in relevel, happy to help!

    Please make sure to check your dashboard or Kickbooster for the clicks and pledges (as GA doesn't count app visits according to KS), so far we are at 319 clicks and 2 direct pledges (Worth $119)

    Hope that helps :-)
