    Feedback of my Kickstarter project

    by wilsonsee » Sun May 21, 2017 7:13 pm

    Hi everyone! This is Wilson and I started a kickstarter project 5 days ago and now it's 20% funded. It's a sunglasses made of stone and wood. We studied and prepared list of press reporters to reach out but there's no reply. As we have a very tight budget so we're running very low budget of facebook ads, first ad day ROI is 4:1 and 2nd ad day ROI is only 2:1.

    Would really appreciate if you can take a look of my project page and give us some feedback. Thank you very much.

    Live project: http://kck.st/2qPs5Qw

    Best Regards,
    Wilson

    Hi Wilson,

    I think the campaign page is professional although, perhaps missing more photos of people wearing the glasses. I guess you're having trouble with your pitches and outreach.

    Are you in HK, as I'm nearby too. Perhaps you can contact me and I can see if I can help...

    how little is the budget? do you have someone to monitor the ads? facebook ads can run so many different ways.

    Your video production is really cool and professional but I don't understand your product from the first seconds of the video mainly because of the following reasons:
    - too fast, I can't catch the whole glasses and focus on them in the beginning of the video;
    - being not a native english speaker it takes some effort for me to understand what you are saying because of loud music and your pronunciation;
    - you start with a question aiming at activating person's thinking but video is too short and fast it just puts a lot of unnecessary information into my head and lowers my focus for the rest of the video.

    In conclusion, your product is really cool but you are asking a potential customer to make much effort to understand it. That's my opinion. Even if you set up perfect advertising and get huge number of leads the conversion will remain low if customers don't understand what you are trying to sell.

    But I can be wrong:)
