Hi everyone,

A curious mind is a terrible thing to waste. Don't you agree?

My name is Sarita Menon and I have launched an unconventional science magazine designed to get girls to be their brilliant best and embrace their smartness, unapologetically.

Why ?

Because these impressionable curious minds need to read something more than fluffy books and magazines that talk about princesses, celebrities, hair styles, and fashion trends.

Because something needs to be done to fix the embarrassingly low numbers of women in STEM fields. This is my attempt at making a dent.

How is it unconventional?

Never before has a magazine used women in science as cover models, until now. Yes, we are treating these powerful women as celebrities and giving them the spotlight they truly deserve.

Very cool campaign! Thanks for sharing and congratulations on reaching your $20K stretch goal!

I love that your magazine gives girls strong female role models and encourages them to get into science. I think it's even better that it doesn't contain ads.

Do you have any tips for running a successful publishing campaign on Kickstarter?
