Damn, I'm kind of living your story right now... except I don't have a partner and I'm not from Poland, lol. I kind of just jumped head first into my campaign. But I'll definitely heed your advice if I start another one.

Congratulations for getting your Kickstarter funded! I just started my 1st Kickstarter which I spent months preparing for in terms of the design/launch site/video/photography etc. Unfortunately I did not invest as much energy in terms of building a following so I am struggling right now to gain momentum and get the relevant audience in front of my campaign. This can be challenging since it is a fairly niche product (designer dog sweaters). I am definitely learning from my mistake.

Note to self: Build a big enough following before launching anything on Kickstarter.

So why your partners facebook group and followers didn't work out as it was hoped? Not enough people?

I just think I don't reach out enough (spending most of my time designing and working on product instead. Also I don't have a huge network of friends that is relevant to my product so it is harder to spread the word.

Woah!, I feel your pain bro. I'm also trying to create a visual novel, which I believe is a niche genre, and I'm failing so much. I have a community before starting up, but seems to not be enough, or I'm doing something else the wrong way.

I'll love to chat with you if you have a moment, any experience will help a lot.
