From what I have noticed about bad reviews, there seems to be a confusion between 'Super Backer Club' and 'BackerClub'.
I think the bad reviews are about www.superbackerclub.com which is a different webiste from BackerClub.co
and the superbackerclub.com service obviously has stopped due to bad reviews.

I have recently closed a campaign successfully, and had used many marketing services, but the one that actually returned with real pledges were the Backerclub.co. The fee (379$) was not processed until I reached 100%, and 24 pledges were added after I subscribed to their platform.

I will post a detailed list of various marketing services I used, its cost and result, but just leaving a short note that BackerClub was quite worth the investment :) I'd recommend it.

    Guys,

I am also considering the service from Backerclub, my campaign launched three days and have 12 backers now, the obstacle to me is before joining the promotion service, i have to pay few hundreds bucks first, but god, i really dont know the results whether i will be funded or not.

So far I've had one backer from it after being on there one week. I hope I can have more.

Thank you for the great review! We will check them out.

Just wanna share our own experience with using paid marketing services. Before coming across backerclub.co, we tried another website (don't wanna name it here) and faced a problem. This website promised us that they will drive huge traffic to our Kickstarter page (http://kck.st/2e4tb2z) by featuring our campaign in their newsletter and social media channels. They seem reliable considering they're ranked first on Google (their SEO score is pretty high) and they have a large following on Facebook. Hence we went with it. However, after they featured our campaign on their Facebook page, we found out-of-proportion number of "likes", "comments" and "shares" on the post. It's weird that our campaign post received a huge number of "likes" i.e. 19,000+ likes but super low "comments" and "shares" i.e. 2 each. Even though there has been a disclaimer that this kind of paid marketing service doesn't guarantee high conversion rates (as it's not a targetted advertising like Facebook Ads, hence their audience may not be suitable), they should not have marketed their service as driving organic, honest traffic from backers who have backed crowdfunding projects before because we suspected that the huge amount of likes we received was from a click farm.

However, after reading many good reviews about backerclub.co, we have not lost faith in this kind of paid marketing services who promised to "drive organic traffic" to our Kickstarter page. We might try it :)

Thanks for sharing your experience. How about our services? I saw you've been with Gadget Flow too? Perhaps you can message us as to how we'd help promote your campaign.

Does anyone have positive experiences with BackerClub on similar campaigns?

I think this forum gives you some pretty good (or bad) references about BackerClub...

For "hands on" work and advice, please feel free to get in touch. I've worked on an overfunded heated jacket campaign before, so I think I can help.

I had a chat with one of the co-founders of BackerCLub, Billy and he as very nice and helpful. I decided to give them a shot! That was on saturday, Nov 12. That day I got 5 backers and 3 after that, but that's about it. Total I got about $1885 from BackerClub. I mean it's not bad, but I wish they would do another round or two of the email newsletter, because that is what seemed to help. But unfortunately you have to pay for that. I guess since mine is a fashion/accessories project, not a lot of people are interested in that since most people are into tech and design. I would probably recommend them but their prices are a bit high.
