Hi all!

I'm new to Kickstarter and created a video through Biteable which I think is pretty good.

I need some feedback though, and I thought this would be the perfect place to ask.

Do you belive that this video will help my campaign?

And how much help the video? Whether increasing donations through video?

Hi Rhys,

Yes I think the video is a bit of a problem. For 40 seconds in there's no mention of your Kickstarter - it's personally about you (and we don't know you )

From past 40 seconds, you wrote "But here's what you get.." why is there a "But"? From that point forward it felt like a charitable contribution, rather than funding your novel.

In this age people don't have 40+ seconds to wait (think of mobiles etc.,), so you should of got to the point in the first 10 seconds, such as:
- This is my novel
- It's got X inside
_ My background (+ awards) is...
- I'm looking to raise X & give you X

Then spend the rest of the time going into the campaign in detail.

The campaign page needs alot of work too, but you wanted to focus on the video first. Best of luck.
