My day job is as a Network Administrator working with routers, switches, access points, Voice over IP phones, etc.

My passion project is a weekly podcast called The Crowdfunding Christian Music Podcast where I spotlight and discuss current crowdfunding campaigns for Christian music. I know it's incredibly niche and appeals to a very tiny number of folks, but I really enjoy doing it and feel good about helping the artists get a bit more exposure for some great projects.

What is my day job?
Well, I am a teacher and I'm pretty proud of this.

What is my passion project?
I think the most important and passionate project of mine has been my family, so far...

So, interestingly enough, my dayjob is the reason I'm crowdfunding right now. I'm a marketing copywriter and the people I work for are using Kickstarter to launch a new company. So I'm working for 2-3 companies right now, which is fun because I'm learning a lot! My passion project is transmedia and interactive storytelling. I will likely not use crowdfunding to launch when I do take the leap and go into that full time, but I've definitely considered it for specific things once I've built a fan base elsewhere. It seems like crowdfunding works better when you have a pre-existing fan base (or strong network of family and friends, or strong connections to people who need/want what you're providing) so I'm always taking that into considering. I've really learned a lot by launching a Kickstarter with my current team!

My "day job", except from studying, the last year and a half, has been filmmaking. But this winter one of my projects went terribly wrong; I travelled in Chile making a documentary, and was robbed of all my film equipment after my luggage had been held up in Europe for two weeks. So after spending all my savings on this trip, I had to go back home with no footage, no expensive equipment and no "future" for my project. So I had to start working as a kindergarten teacher again to bring in some actual cash.

So my job has gone into now being my passion project sort of. Filmmaking. And at the moment, all I want, is to finish the documentary, which is why I have started a crowdfunding campaign! Wish me luck

He followed the short route to the girl’s apartment complex which ran by his old campus and was still able to acutely feel the light tread of the road, a feeling that had been living with him for years that verged on some type of domesticated or propriety relationship with his immediate surroundings. The park passing to his left, an ex-civil war encampment, 29th street, even the girl’s apartment complex he knew internally with an odd, blue print like detail—and without her awareness of this separate knowledge—Aiden felt like a hacker who had secretly reversed engineered his profile from her head.

A light drizzle picked up into a solid rainfall as Aiden rounded her apartment building, and he could see a figure waiting near a gated door underneath an umbrella. Rolling toward the person, Aiden began calling her number until he saw her leave out from the building and jog into the street. Aiden opened the door as wide as possible when she approached, and a girl entirely dressed in black lowered herself into his car.

My Kickstarter project is a full time job!

My day job is writing. I work on comics and a bit of movie stuff, but my end goal is to work in animation. My passion project is an animated series I have been shopping around here in LA.

My daytime job is full time Real Estate professional. Pretty straight forward...I am in the business of helping people purchase homes. It is fulfilling and enjoyable.

I love ALL THINGS ENTREPRENEURIAL. It is a very interesting subject. I enjoy meeting different individuals who are achieving their goals.

At the moment I am working on a passion project with a business partner. We are in the midst of creating a gym bag and looking to launch Kickstarter soon. We've never done a KS and are contemplating on doing a test run with a different product to get feel of what to expect. What are you guys thoughts about going through the KS process?

My name is Hanlie Winterbach - I am a large carnivore conservation researcher in Botswana. I am passionate especially about lions and the Okavango Delta in Botswana - we developed and managed a long-term lion monitoring project there for 10 years, and have had the most amazing experiences and got to know some really amazing lion - each with their own personalities (did you know they have unique personalities? They sure do!). Now I am based in Maun (miss my camp and lions, terribly) - one cannot actively helpconserve large carnivores if you are sitting in a camp having fun with following lions, unfortunately. The biggest contribution one can make is to be involved in human-large carnivore conflict with local farmers - so that is what we are doing now.
