I really liked Flo: the smarter way to check temperature.

Parents and especially new parents are going to buy any kind of tech that will help them keep their baby safe. It is such a great idea. I am sure there will be a lot more products for babies and new parents, and they will definitely do well if the product is half descent.

Hi there.

There is something I have to say about 'Ruggie'.

I think that this project is a rip off of an original idea that surfaced in 2007 and is documented
as such in many different web sites, including this: http://www.yankodesign.com/2007/06/19/c ... arm-clock/.

I don't know either of the creators, but I know one thing: one would hopefully agree that all creators have the obligation to check for previous work and at least acknowledge it in their new designs.

True, the nature of the design work these days is such that it is difficult to avoid existing details and elements already embedded elsewhere.

What sets 'Ruggie' aside, and not in a a good sense, is that it is an unacknowledged carbon copy of the 2007 design. Oh, and the way the campaign was designed to include details about famous people's sleeping habits is ridiculous and completely unnecessary. Then not only this guy made a nice sum on Kickstarter but he repeated it on Indiegogo. On the latter he gave no updates and answered no comments. I hope I'm wrong but this does not look good for the supporters.

I've recently backed a couple of cool projects... each for different reasons:

1. Wiivv - 3d printed custom insoles. I loved this project as custom insoles are usually really expensive and after a year or so they wear out. Having custom insoles printed for just $75 is great (btw they just shipped!) but having my data stored for next time is incredible for me.

2. Olo - Still with 3d printing, this is an unbelievable project and I hope they pull through. I actually ordered 4 of these home 3d printers that connect to your phone. As I'm in the jewelry business (http://www.shireeodiz.com), 3d printing is close to home and new developments in the industry are always exciting.

3. Magic Coin Pouch (see link in signature) - Just backed this today... A super cool accessory for comfortably carrying coins. I've been a big fan of Paperwallet for a while and I've had one of their super thin Tyvek artist wallets for a couple of years now. The coin pouch is a cool idea and I look forward to getting rid of that annoying jangle of coins in my pocket!

Im quite new at kickstarter, I've only backed small campaigns. I would say "t clamp" is my fav.
I hope they will reach there goal. They have only got 6% and have 14 days to go.

My second fav would be Sarita. Really smart!.

I supported Pride in Our Prides: Can A Story Save the African Lion? on Experiment.com. They reached their goal amount and then a supported said he would match their $3,000 goal with another $3,000! Hope I would be so lucky on my campaign with Philippe Ingels which we launched 4 days ago on Kickstarter, although I am quite worried at the moment as the pledges are slow to come.

I backed this project called Velara Warriors - female action figures for children. pretty cool elemental warriors. a friend of mine created it.
