    Re: Pins Collective Kickstarter

Seems like you got yourself covered with Press. Our services are hands-on, where we do the research based on previous campaigns in . Before we were called GiftsandCoupons.com which is still active, but were getting so many Crowdfunding requests (which aren't really gifts) we created the Hyperstarter platform, which essentially is still being developed but as you can see from the testimonials, we're still actively promoting campaigns.

If you PM me I can show you a work-in-progress of what Hyperstarter is all about, I think you'd find the tool useful.

My brief advice to keep it going is not rely on a couple of sources to get noticed. You're using FB targeted ads I guess (people into fashion, wearables + of course know about Kickstarter/Crowdfunding), but that may run out and is expensive.

Backerclub + Backercamp are good, they're established. But they're not "hands on" and based around their own collection of backers.

The thing with your product is that it's very cool and unique. I think it can be targeted at all age ranges and the more backers you get, the more potential backers will trust you - helping the momentum.

One thing I would say, is the default badges on the app look limited. How many are there to choose from? Could you say connect your phone to a USB and upload logos? How about integrating it with writing from the phone?

My current thought is alot of people attend meetings, they have a badge with their name on. A cool electronic badge like this would be amazing to have at conferences and meetup forums - have you targeted them so far? How about a tier where conference owners could buy 100 pins?

In terms of connecting with influencers, have a look at a post I wrote which you might find useful:

I'd love to help out with this campaign, feel free to email at email@hyperstarter.com - a list of some testimonials from our clients are on this board at: recommend-using-hyperstarter-t6127.html

Best of luck, it looks great!

Thanks for taking time with this!

We don't rely on one thing and we are quite active in social media, we have a P.R company in the UK working the press and so. I just want us to do as much as possible to maximize our impact :) I am a bit curious about Backercamp/Backerclub so might sign up there.. There just seems to be so many scammers out there! Once launched one really get bombarded with emails. Getting somewhat tiresome. And I think I've read most guides by now and thats why I asked in this group :)

About the app, one can create, upload any kind of picture to the app and then the pin so there is no limit there. Some of the pictures in the app are limited due to the fact that we started out with a screen that didn't have as good resolution and picture quality as the one we got our hands on later on in the process and are now building on. And back then we created our own patterns ourself as we didn't have the rights to alot of good pictures. When completed the creator will be more powerful than the one you see in the film - it's a work in progress.

The meetup forums was a great idea - I will look into that and see if we could get some traction there!

I didn't really get what you are going to at Hyperstarter though?

    Thanks again!

This a really clever idea and great concept. I have a leather jacket that I've had for years and has it's share of pins. Congrats on all your success so far!
