What are all the key reasons you prefer indiegogo to Kickstarter?

As mentioned by BackerTree, you can use IGG in other countries...I feel it's more European based than Kickstarter.

Also, you can choose to receive the funds whether your project meets the goal or not.

Kickstarter is more popular, but IGG might be more useful.

We're going to launch our campaign within the next 2 months and need to finalize which platform we're going to go with. We've been contacted by IGG and their platform seems to be more flexible and functional than KS. But acknicholas's point about the much larger community is hard to get away from. Also, in our somewhat non-tech network, the IGG brand is unknown, while KS has almost become synonymous with crowdfunding. I've done a little live testing and told people we're doing an IGG campaign - they look at me like I'm nuts. Not so when I mention KS.
