Hello Everyone,
I just today launched my first Kickstarter with my band mate Shankari.

We are Kick Starting our band's debut album and getting us ready to play live.
We did our research (which led us to this forum) We have been promoting on Facebook and Twitter. I made a video for the campaign. We spent much time figuring out our pledges. And today we launched.
I'll share whatever I learn here. Right now I am mostly feeling Satisfied. Excited. and Anxious.
A great time to meditate more each day:)

Day 2...and in the past 24 hours we have reached 22% of our goal. We are feeling very excited. It seems like mostly people in our social network have been pledging, and it has been very powerful and emotional. My partner and I are feeling very grateful and Kickstarter is changing how we see the world, money, and energy.
It is a very strong experience to put your Dreams out in the public for all to see, ask others to support them, and then receive support. Today we updated with our 1st Release from our debut Album...and we continue to explore how we can get our campaign seen by more people. 28 days to go!

Day 3.
This morning we added a Blooper video...cut from our Kickstarter Video.

Yesterday we were contacted by a fairly popular music blog about doing an interview. They found us on Kickstarter and are offering an article. This is great, feeling very blessed about it.

In the meantime things have slowed, and I need to stay focused on creativity because our album is not yet finished. So lots of Yoga and Meditation for me. Need to stay balanced and focussed, relaxed and at ease,

Day 5...Things seem to be going very well:)
Thank you Tessa!!! We have a thank you video coming for you:)
Shankari and I feel very blessed. We have been contacted by 2 blogs who want to promote our campaign, and we found a 3rd that is also going to promote us.
We may be at 40% by day 10 which is supposed to be a good thing.
Shankari is mostly handling our social network promotion and I am mostly busy keeping my balance with lots of Pranayama so I can keep making music and complete our album on schedule.
We are starting to feel confident...and starting to talk about playing lots of live shows this Summer
