One thing you have to do is make sure you're getting people to back your project outside of IGG. If you don't get anyone to back your project outside of IGG, then IGG won't help you along that much by putting you high up in their search results.

The owner said, basically, if you can get yourself 67% of the way to your funding goal, they'll get you the other 33%.

Same thing happened to me as well.

The first day we posted our campaign and we could find it by searching on IGG. But 3 days later, we can't find it any more.
But I can still do google search and will find the campaign without any problems.

I believe gogofactor maybe one of reasons, but IGG should really either fix this problem or give campaigners a better explanation.

Still deciding between Kickstarter and Indie, we want to launch at the end of the month....wondering whether or not posters on this forum got their projects funded. Did they hear from any potential backers that the dubious search function on Indie lost them potential sales or added frustration to buyers.

The only reason why your Indiegogo campaign was disappeared from the search page is because there is no activity at all on your campaign for the first 48 hours and that is the only reason.
I hope this can help.

Unfortunately this is what happened to me too.. Although I got a lot of traffic to my project about 2770 visits and shares on facebook and twitter.. I didn't get any help from Indiegogo.. my project which is art and writing based project, about publishing my book :Letters From The Heart, didn't appear on indiegogo searches or google searches as well.... I am very disappointed
