It is sad to see things like this happen but this can be still stopped if you report the project to Kickstarter Integrity team on the bottom of the campaing page.

The Bomber Paracord Bracelet has raised 450k on Kickstarter and is sold exactly on Kickstarter like on Alibaba, just with a 600% markup. Selling existing products is against Kickstarter rules and the project creators have a laughable excuse after backers uncovered this. Kickstarter is again doing nothing... please make them aware of this or sooner or later Kickstarter becomes a wholesale market with nice videos and not a place for innovative products.

Wow, thats crazy! If you have the network, it's an easy way to make a couple hundred grand... Definitely not good for kickstarter though.

That an incredibly bold move! But I'm curious though what the next step is from kickstarter. Are they just going to trough this campagne out?

But they did seem to raise 430k before from a prior project. --was that an alibaba product?

I also looked at their previous project... great video but I don't get what so great that compelled that many ppl to get it.. it's a duffle bag. I know it claims to be better in this and that way... but I don't see it much different than any other duffle bag.

I also saw another project that seemed to have just took existing bags that were already produced, and 'decorated' them in the US and framed it as 'completed by hand in America'.

Could this be a money laundering scheme? I'm an American in China, and I know that many rich Chinese are nervous about the economy here and are actively looking for ways to move their money out of China. The government wants to prevent that, so the ones trying to move their money out are forced to get creative. And since Alibaba is a Chinese company, well....

I don't know, might be a big conspiracy theory, but either way, this project seemed very fishy and it's good Kickstarter shut it down until more details are known.
