My current day job is as an email specialist for Sierra Trading Post. Basically, I answer emails and chat with customers who have questions or concerns. Although I've worked in customer service in many forms throughout the years, it really isn't my passion. I do it because I'm good at it, but my passion is writing, music, and animation.

I'm a fantasy author, vocalist, and currently working toward getting my own independent animation studio called Amarok Animation started. I've started an Indiegogo campaign to help raise start up funds for the company in addition to other fundraising efforts. The more I can raise through fundraising, the less I'll need to take out in SBA loans since it will cost a total of $3.2 million dollars to run the studio for two years and we'll need all of that money in advance because of the length of time it takes to create an animated project.

The studio will be a fully independent production studio that does everything from pre-production through post-production and distribution in-house. It will have 25 employees to start with, hoping to add at least 10 more in four or five years. Our focus will be animated shorts, series, and feature films and our mission is to create animation for all ages to show that animation can be an incredible medium for storytelling and is not "just for kids" as it has become pigeonholed as in America.

Since the hiring process hasn't begun for the studio yet, the first few scripts will be written by me. The script for our first animated short is completed and the script for our first animated feature is in development. Hiring should begin in October with the business officially beginning operation in January, 2016 if everything goes according to plan.
Independent animation for all ages. Who says good animation should come from Hollywood? Check us out on Indiegogo at http://www.igg.me/at/Amarok!

Day job: I'm a software engineer working on remotely piloted aircraft.

Passion: I'm a music composer. I'm writing and recording a large scale heavy metal project (which is coming along very slowly, because my time is short and the music is very hard to play).

I'm an electrical engineer in the power distribution field. I'm currently working to kickstart my first science fiction comic book mini-series I'm writing. Not looking to quit my job anytime soon, but hopefully this mini-series can lead to a career in writing in the future.

I am a full time author. I have two passion projects, Pandora's Box of Love, which is an erotic romance that introduces Pandora, a new way to make love that allows those who are physically hindered to return lovemaking to their life. My second passion is the 1889 Johnstown Flood, I just finished a redoing the flood victim list, correcting history after 125 years and preparing to write a series of books on the event for Young Adults.

    Hey,

I am a student in France who loves entrepreneurship. As a matter of fact, I have made the correlation of entrepreneurship and Kickstarter the focus of my PhD thesis. In particular, my team and I are doing research about the personality characteristics of Kickstarters :) Are there any common characteristics that trigger their creativity? Who are the people doing projects on Kickstarter? Could the next Steve Jobs be among them?
If you are interested in the findings and want to participate at my study, take a couple of minutes to fill out the research survey here: http://tinyurl.com/martins-survey
Join more than 200 Kickstarters and find out how you score in relation to them in terms of your creativity and innovation abilities.
Your data is treated completely confidential of course!

    Best,
    Martin
