I original had my project on Kickstarter and then they decided to suspend the project without giving me a reason. So now, i will be putting all of my projects on indiegogo.

Because Kickstarter isn't available in Belgium so it was the best second option

Anacruz - Magical Music School is a game for learning music theory, especially for children from 6 to 12 years and any other person who would like learning music. Unlike a lot of software for learning music theory,

Anacruz really wants to be a game and learning is not an end in itself but a means to move forward and finish the game. The gameplay is made in the style of point & click games old school and combined with a series of mini-games which are both fun and didactic.

When the player wins a mini-game, he gets experience, allowing him to unlock new spells in the following areas: fire, water, air, earth and nature. These spells will help the player to defeat the monsters he meets in a turn based tactical fighting game by using music.

The player will have the opportunity to play as a male or female character, and will benefit from some level of customization (name, color clothes, etc.).

Mine is through Indiegogo Life because I get to keep more of the donations than other sites.

For our relaunch, we will be on kickstarter

There's also the fact that you don't have to get fully funded to get a leg up with your project.

We were thinking it was interesting at first, for example, half funded would have been enough, not optimal but enough to make something work. We didn't anticipate our campaign will be such a bust.

Hopefully, only my friends have backed us so I could refund them because it's just impossible we go through with just that small amount

I think all of nothing, with reasonnable expectations work better and prevent a huge backlash to have to deliver a product to fews with almost nothing in budget or proceed to a refund at your own cost (you'll lose the indiegogo and transaction fee in the process)

Lessons we've learned for our relaunch in september / october

I use Indiegogo mainly because Kickstarter isn't available in Bulgaria

We are crowd funding for our small business (prototype and injection molding service). Apparently, kickstarter did not give chance for small business to run their campaign. So Indiegogo is our only option.

Why are you saying that ? You can make a kickstarter for individual or business... but your country must be allowed. It wasn't the case for us when we've launched, so we choose Indiegogo, now we can use Kickstarter so we'll do

Thanks for your reply. But I really don't see which category should our campaign fall into on Kickstarter....What have changed since you launched your campaign on Indiegogo? You got permission from your conuntry?

BTW, I lived in Leuven for a year from 2004 to 2005. Love the country
