My project is "Dowloadable Plans for Craft Projects" - the masks in my avatar are made from one set.
I intend to offer the plans (in various numbers) as rewards.
At the "top end" I will offer lifetime membership, ie, I will always send a copy of new, completed plans for free, for life.

I want to offer a "product tester" grade. I need a group of enthusiastic testers who will trial build the plans and give feedback on any small adjustments I need to make to my designs. (Of course, I wouldn't expect anyone to test a product unless I feel it works.)
Do you think that this approach is acceptable? I would really appreciate any thoughts and comments on this idea, especially from anyone who has used a Crowdfunding platform to source product testers before.

    "Plus
I will back your project in return
    (Or word it some way)"

I believe this is against the TOS, though I would check.

I would recommend a food, item that can be preserved, of course something written signifying your gratitude toward there assistance, and invitation to where ever, what ever the project was conducted in , and by.

The first and most obvious rule is that rewards need to be tailor made to fit the campaiign's cause. I like James Maslow's Save the music foundation campaign for restoring music programs in public schools, who offers a t-shirt with his photo and save the music logo printed. The campaign reached it's goal in about 2 weeks.
Also what needs to be considered are various factors like production, packaging and shipping costs for the rewards, and most important is to have it all organized so you can deliver your rewards on time.
Here's an article that can help brainstorming about choosing rewards

For the game we're developing we just offered digital rewards, exclusive ingame items that enhance the experience and some customized parts (ingame portrait/statue) in the levels.
Sadly we couldn't afford any physical item, but our goal is also kinda little (6000 £) so hopefully that would be enough to gather some backer attention.

Offer something relevant to the project, like with my project I offer digital drawings besides the basics.

Another good option is to offer perhaps 2 rewards for the same backing range (once the amount is significant, perhaps more than $50). For example, we're offering tea-related products, so for those backers that aren't avid tea drinkers or fans we will also have the option of pledging the same amount and selecting a textile product.

One guy offered an option where he spit or rubbed his face on his comic book. Pretty hilarious.
