@Ananta: Looks like you didn't do your home work before putting your money in it. Some search on google would have helped. Someone has posted a bad review about them on April 2015, at this link: gofundrocketreview.us

Thanks,
Arrnica

It just seems sad that people are trying to raise money, but have to spend all kinds of money to promote their campaign.

I totally agree with you... My friends and I struggle to launch our campaign on Indiegogo. I paid for promotion but ... no return. Just a tweet at this time and being on their site. No extra backers. Feel a bit scam (or our project isn't so 'sexy' on Indiegogo ?)

Wow you have a cool 33 days left on your project. I could give you guaranteed 200 backers in 20 days. Check out reviews from my other customers. Besides if you do not get 200 backers in 20 days, you have the option to cancel your order and get a full refund. I know this sounds unbelievable. I tried to run 2 campaigns on Kickstarter. Once was successful, the other wasn't. In my curiosity I built up a network of 200 people for my next campaign, but now I have decided not to campaign anymore. I just feel good supporting fellow creators, and ofcourse it has also become a means for me to earn a living now, after I learnt my service was of value to creators and they greatly appreciated the boost they received on their projects.

Seriously, I've already paid for no backer at all... For the relaunch, I won't pay again for promotion : I'm already building my own network and fanbase. I think it's most reliable :)

Help with the promotion

by Bobik » Fri May 29, 2015 11:56 pm

I started crowdfunding campaign "Save Bobik from Evil Bankers!" (They want to take away my dog house!):
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/save-bobik-from-evil-bankers.
In my humble opinion, quality is good. But I'm willing to listen to the advice on fixes.
I have not any experience in online promotion before, so I attracted only 150 visitors for 4 days. I can't use paid advertising - no money for it now.
I want to offer a referral partnership with the good percentage for you. For example, 35% for you (35% - fees and the cost of perks, 30% - for me). What do you think about that?

thanks for sharing the prefundia.com. I have already started my campaign for almost a week and am working hard to search for the paid marketing service right now. There are too many service companies and does anyone have more information on it?

My project is about invisible liner socks goo.gl/t3GjUI
We are creating kickstarter campaign of "True No Show, Non Slip Liner Dress Socks Made for Comfort" ,

I just posted over in one of the kickstarter threads, but I thought part of my post might be appropriate here...

I'm in the middle of what has been a pretty successful campaign for the Porter Key Knife (everyman.us/kickstarter).

For us there have been a couple things that have been huge for us. First, we spent some money to have our video done right. It seems a professional video has helped portray a quality product and resulted in very high view to conversion rates.

The best we did was purchase a press contact list from prand.co. We bought it before we started the campaign and spent a few hours the night before our campaign launched writing emails to the contacts on the list, following their "best practices" document that they include when you purchase. What's great about their list is that there's a good mix of huge stuff that if you get will fund your campaign within the hour (Gizmodo, Lifehacker, TechCrunch, Uncrate) and then more attainable stuff that causes a solid trickle throughout your campaign (Cool Material, Gear Patrol, Gear Junkie). For us we got a bunch of the attainable stuff and one of the big dogs and it's accounted for 40% of our sales so far ($20K). The list was only $99 (granted we still had to send out the emails ourselves, but it's responsible for over $20K! Also worth noting, we didn't even email everyone on the list, just the ones that we felt we had a solid chance at.

Second, we used a gmail plugin called Streak that allowed us to track what emails had been opened/viewed. Based on that info we re-reached out to a handful of the sites again half way through our campaign. It was nice having a second wave of press half way through.

Hope some of that is helpful! And good luck to those in the middle of campaigns and to those who are about to start!

I just tried to contact them because my preview https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/versi/2135169043?token=04e336d6 kept coming up as an invalid url. Wondering if they're legit.
