Hi there,

My passion project is something that I have been doing for years! I have been designing and building custom bed frames for friends, family, and a few clients. I am passionate about my bed frames because I feel that people deserve to have a little luxury and peace in the place they spend roughly a 3rd of their life in. My dream is to have the space and equipment to offer more features and customization to the beds for luxury such as mini fridges and televisions, and for assistance such as built in medical equipment and storage compartments.

As a former teacher, lifetime music lover, and techie, my day job and my passion project come together really well with my work at Sonic Sense Resource Center (www.sonicsense.com/resourcecenter ).

SSRC is a product comparison site where people can learn about audio gear and musical instruments without bias or advertising hype. It lets them hear equipment used in identical settings so they can decide what best suits their personal tastes, applications, and budget.

We've launched a Kickstarter project https://goo.gl/IZbSu4 so we can continue bringing valuable information to people like ourselves.

My day job? I'm a fulltime artist. It's not as glamorous as it sounds and there is a reason the term "starving artist" was coined but I get by. It's completely worth it.

My passion project is my job. Specifically right now it's a sculpture project that I'm planning the kickstarter for. I want to do a casting run of it in resin (three different 'models" so to speak, one in plain white resin, one in cold cast bronze, and one small limited edition that I hand paint).
