Great success story!

I would give anything to be able to go back in time and make myself start building the audience much earlier than I did. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite me. We're not doing too bad and we may hit our goal but I just keep dreaming about what could have been.

So I support the idea of building the audience early.

I am 14 days in and struggling. I wish i would have had a bigger following before i started

Thanks for sharing, I found your tips very helpful. I tried to reach out people, press and get some contacts in shows and fairs before I started mine. So far it's going good in the first couple days. I hope my project will turn out good like yours! It is so important to start it way earlier before the launch date. I think whatever you have accumulated before launch will make a huge different.
One more thing, you have to be very careful about what you are saying and offering in comment and in rewards, once it's launch or posted and someone backed, you can't edit it anymore. I made few mistake and very regretful. Make sure you planned for updates and the right answer for questions.
