Hi Everyone:

My project has less than an hour left to fund, and we're just over the halfway mark so I'm not going to make it to that successfully funded point this time.

However, I will be launching a new campaign in a couple of weeks. My daughter and I have reviewed our budget and the things we want for the business versus the things that are absolutely crucial for the business. We've eliminated the 'cushion' - the equipment that we don't need immediately and that we can later purchase once the company is up and running as well as the inventory that would have enabled us to 'blend ahead' so that we are better prepared for the coming months.

We can get our company started with this smaller budget, it will just make the work considerably harder - but anything worth having is worth working hard for and we're ready for that.

Anyway - for those of you who are expressing interest in our project now - THANK YOU - and please check in with us in a couple of weeks - we should have the new project up and running at that point and would be so thrilled with everyone's support.

Hey! We're back with a new kickstarter! We reanalyzed our budget and have cut back on some of the expenses that we'll need - we decided that we can do this thing with a little less inventory and less equipment - it will make our job a little harder but it'll be worth it in the end if we get funded!

I also want to talk a little bit about what's going on in the comment section of my campaign right now - http://kck.st/1wX4ECU - we're voting on our Retro Monday tea.

Retro Monday is the fifth Monday. Every month has four Mondays but only four months per year have a fifth Monday.

52Teas is a subscription tea service primarily. You can, of course, purchase one off on the website, but, most of the customers will be subscribers. The fifth Monday is like a bonus for our subscribers that will get five teas that month for the same price that they'd get the four teas of the month every other month of the year.

So we want to celebrate our fifth Monday with "Retro Monday" where customers can vote on a blend of 52Teas past. The tea that gets the most votes wins and will be reblended for Retro Monday. Of course, since the company will be under new creative management, the new Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas (ME!) will exercise some creative license with the reblends. I've tried most of the teas that 52Teas has produced and so I'll be working on the blends to make them even better.

So right now, we're having a vote in the comment section of our campaign for the reblend that people want for the first Retro Monday, which will be June 29th.
